blooming around here

even though mostly our flowerbeds are a giant nightmare of overgrown weeds…

it has been pretty fun watching to see if anything pretty blooms

and placing beds and prayers on how long the things i have tried to plant will survive!

a little sad all these peony blooms are only single and not the double that i adore. i am in love with peonies and how many bushes we have (like 9!) but i sure hope some of them are double blooms because single are just not as pretty. these are my newest friends. i can’t wait to plant them in these spectacular glass vases and display them around the house. i love the texture of them and how they are all so unique and different looking.  i wanted to bring them all home with me. i sure hope they live.
