Cross Country Ski | Huckleberry Hot Springs

In years past we have often talked about going on a cross country ski to the hot springs but have never made it actually happen.  However this year we (aka Lisa)  rounded up enough gear to get everyone outfitted with cross country skis to go on a big group trip.  It takes a good 2 hours in the car to get to the spot where you begin to ski but the drive is beautiful through the national forest.  The cross country ski is beautiful through the snow covered trees and I think this trip ended up being one of the highlights of the trip for many.  The hot springs are deep enough to get in (about 3 feet deep), very hot, and quite muddy.  Definitely a trip worth taking!
