This is my third year doing project life. I can’t believe I have already completed two years. The first year I did this project was 2012 and I did a typical two page spread for every week of the year. In 2013, I cut back to doing a page spread per week. With where we are in life (no children & a pretty similar daily routine), this seemed to work perfectly for me. I added inserts when I had weeks with more photos and loved that flexibility. A one week spread is very easy to keep up with on a weekly basis and is really second nature now. It’s so fun to look back on these albums.
The other albums pictured below are “adventure albums” and are scrapbooks of bigger trips taken throughout the year. I found that with the pocket style scrapbook its very easy to go back and scrapbook past vacations (like the 2010 and 2011 albums). I am currently still working on 2013 vacations as well as an album just for our trip to Europe last summer because that’s an album’s worth of photos by itself!
Here’s a look at the start of 2014 album and the month of January.
