Our first port was Holland America’s private island, Half Moon Cay. We had a great day here and were the only boat at the island which left it feeling pretty empty. The waves were the biggest crew and guests who have come here for over 30 years had seen. Tom was in heaven. In the afternoon I napped in a lawn chair while Tom ran around the island. Unlike the last private island we visited, this one was much too large to run around completely and he could not get to the furthest edge either. In the afternoon, it did get cloudy and overcast but we stayed til the last minute and were one of the last to get back on the boat.
